  46. SECTION 1 - Minimal Features

  48. The Fetch Command
  49.  
  50. Use Fetch | Script to fetch a script.  You will be given a 
  51. file selection dialog in which you will the mirc.ini of the
  52. script you want to fetch.  Once that is done, =MooDoo= will
  53. fetch the script.

  55. The Seamless Fetch Command
  56.  
  57. The command Fetch | Seamless Fetch is used to fetch scripts
  58. that are fairly large and want to access files.  When a script
  59. is fetched with regular Fetch and wants to access files, it
  60. will not be able to do so.

  62. Default Script

  64. The default script is a script that you use most often.  You
  65. have quick access to it with F2 or /default once it is set.
  66. Use Settings | Default Script to set the path for the mirc.ini
  67. of your default script.

  71. The logging feature will log the status bar into status.log.

  75. SECTION 2 - Intermediate Features

  79. You can use Install Script | Setup or ZIP to install a script.
  80. The setup option will run the script's setup program.  The ZIP
  81. option will unzip it into a subdirectory and automatically insert
  82. it into the Script Database.

  84. The Path Feature
  85.  
  86. When you have scripts that specify the wrong paths in their mirc.ini
  87. file, you can easily fix this with INI Files | Insert | Correct Path.
  88. This command will change all the paths to the path of the actual
  89. mirc.ini.  If you turn on INI Files | Auto-Insert | Correct Path,
  90. the path feature will be automatically executed when you fetch a file.

  92. The User Information Feature

  94. If you hate constantly filling out user information, this feature will
  95. help you.  First, set the information in Settings | User Info.  Then
  96. you can use INI Files | Insert | User Info to instantly insert the
  97. info into the selected file.  Also, you can use the Auto-Insert feature
  98. just like in The Path Feature.

  100. The Extras

  102. The extras are there for you to put them to your own use.  Extras | Unzip
  103. will unzip any file to a specified directory, and Run DOS Command will
  104. run a DOS command.

  108. SECTION 3 - Advanced Features

  110. The Script Database 
  111.  
  112. The script database is used to store script information, and you can
  113. thus easily manage a large number of scripts.  When you create a new
  114. entry using Database | New Entry, pick out the fetching sequence: the
  115. regular or the seamless (see SECTION 1 The Fetch Command and The 
  116. Seamless Fetch Command).  Once this is set, you can fetch the entries
  117. with Fetch | Database Entry.  Erase entries and completely clear the
  118. database with Database | Erase Entry and Clear Database.  You can see
  119. all the entries in your database by using Database | List.  All entries
  120. set for seamless fetch will appear with an (s).  And finally, view 
  121. entry info (ie name, time created, etc.) with Database | Entry Info.

  123. The Custom INIs
  124.  
  125. When you encounter a script without an mirc.ini, you cannot fetch it,
  126. or do anything else with it from manager for that matter.  You can
  127. create an mirc.ini for it.  First, create a default mirc.ini with
  128. Custom | Generate MIRC.INI.  Then, use Custom | Add, to specify the
  129. necessery files.
